As part of the Wild About Ojai adventure series, Ojai Valley Land Conservancy Preserve Manager Rick Bisaccia and I will be leading a hike up the fairly short but somewhat steep Kennedy Ridge Trail on Saturday, April 7.
This route is one of the newest trails within the OVLC’s Ventura River Preserve, and will someday (fingers crossed!) lead to the historic Camino Cielo and Ocean View Trail.
The hike is 3.5 miles round-trip. The first half is an easy mosey along fairly level single-track and retired service roads; the second half is a steady climb. Spectacular views!
This event has been organized to benefit the Ojai Valley Land Conservancy and support the great work they do, and there is a $10 fee for non-members. It is free to OVLC members (another great reason to join!). We’ll be leaving from the Oso trailhead at 10am, and returning around 2pm. See the OVLC website here for additional information.
Please call Marti Reid at +1 805 649 6852 to reserve your space!
Kung-fu Fightin’ Skills Optional!
Our hike is also being sponsored by Ojai Community Bank.
